About the club

Ipswich Rugby Club is one of the oldest clubs around founded in 1870 it boasts four senior sides and a thriving youth section to be proud of. Our 1st XV are currently in London League 3 North East and will be looking for promotion back into London Division 2 for the season 2005/06.
We welcome to the club any players, male or female, however young or old - the young players on a Sunday morning where our Youth Coaches will welcome you, and the older players on a Tuesday or Thursday evening at training where the Chairman of Playing, Mike Hancock, will be pleased to meet you, and the Ladies on a Wednesday evening, with games on most Sundays..

Even if you are not a player please come and support the Club. Our senior fixtures are shown below, make it a date in your diary and make sure you come and see what you can get out of the game whether you want to be a spectator or play. Full details of our fixture list is available and I know that you are going to find us a friendly, welcoming, and happy club.

Ipswich Rugby Club runs one of the largest mini and youth sections in the Eastern Counties. Training is on Sunday Mornings from 10:30am. There is an extensive fixture list for all ages and the games are also played on Sundays. All inclusive membership is £60 per season and there are discounts for additional children and family members.

The Club Shop is also open from 10:00am on Sundays for the sale of sportswear including replica shirts, club shorts, socks, studs and leisurewear.
