Dirctions to the Club

From the Midlands, Bury St.Edmunds and Norwich

Turn off the A14 at the first exit sign posted for Ipswich. Turn left at the Asda roundabout and follow the road into Ipswich along Norwich Road. You will pass a Land Rover garage on your left and the Emperor Inn on your right. Turn left at the small double roundabout at the Inkerman pub, sign posted Woodbridge (A12) acending a hill. Continue along Valley Road through two sets of traffic lights and go straight over two roundabouts (the second turning on both). Immediately over the railway bridge (sign posted Northgate Sports Centre), fork left into Sidegate Lane West and past Northgate School. Continue along Sidegate Lane West to the T junction. The entrance for Ipswich Rugby Club is slightly to your right ahead.

From London

At the roundabout at the end of the A12 opposite Toys-R-us go straight on following signs for Ipswich Town Centre. At the first roundabout also go straight on. Go straight on at the traffic lights near the Holiday Inn hotel and continue towards Ipswich Town Centre. At the bottom of the hill at the traffic lights go straight on and stay in the left hand lane. At the second set of lights turn left. Continue to a double roundabout (he Inkerman pub is on your left) and go straight ahead acending a hill. Continue along Valley Road through two sets of traffic lights and go straight over two roundabouts (the second turning on both). Immediately over the railway bridge (sign posted Northgate Sports Centre), fork left into Sidegate Lane West and past Northgate School. Continue along Sidegate Lane West to the T junction. The entrance for Ipswich Rugby Club is slightly to your right ahead.

From Woodbridge

From the A12 turn right onto the A1214 near the Park and Ride signposted for Ipswich. Continue along the A1214 going straight on through two sets of traffic lights. Continue past the Bell Pub on your left and straight on through a third set of traffic lights. Continue past Rushmere golf course on your left. Approaching the roundabout stay in the right hand lane but go straight on. Follow the lane around to the right and then bear left onto Colchester Road, following the sign to Colchester (A12), keeping the Shell garage on your right. Go straight on at the first roundabout and right at the second roundabout. At the T junction turn right onto Sidegate Lane West. Continue along Sidegate Lane West to the T junction. The entrance for Ipswich Rugby Club is slightly to your right ahead.

From Felixtowe

From the A14 turn left onto the A12 signposted for Woodbridge and continue along the A12 dual carriageway. At the first roundabout turn left onto Foxhall road. Continue along Foxhall road past the household waste recycling centre on your left. Follow the road for a few miles until you reach a roundabout near some shops. Turn right at the roundabout and you will pass the Ipswich hospital on your left. Go straight ahead through the traffic lights. At the roundabout turn left but then keep in the right hand lane. Follow the lane around to the right and then bear left onto Colchester Road, following the sign to Colchester (A12), keeping the Shell garage on your right. Go straight on at the first roundabout and right at the second roundabout. At the T junction turn right onto Sidegate Lane West. Continue along Sidegate Lane West to the T junction. The entrance for Ipswich Rugby Club is slightly to your right ahead.
